What tolerances can you hold?
We hold ±.001″ all day on our mills and lathes. Our Haas VF-3SS and our Doosan and Kia sub-spindle lathes frequently hold ±.0005″ and repeat it. The final tolerance depends on part size, material and rigidity, and we’ll tell you up front what we can hold on your part.
Are Crescent Mfg and Crescent Manufacturing the same company?
Yes. Crescent Mfg., Inc. is our legal name, and most customers know us as Crescent Manufacturing. It’s the same veteran-owned machine shop at 2020 Business Campus Drive in Murfreesboro, in business since 2003.
What machining services do you offer?
CNC milling with 4th-axis rotary, CNC turning with live tooling, Y-axis and sub-spindle, precision surface and form grinding, prototype and production machining, secondary operations and in-house inspection.
Where is Crescent Mfg located?
Our machine shop is at 2020 Business Campus Drive in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, about 35 minutes southeast of Nashville. We serve manufacturers throughout Rutherford County, Middle Tennessee and across the Southeast.
What file formats do you accept?
PDF drawings plus STEP, IGES, Parasolid, SolidWorks and DXF files. A dimensioned PDF print together with a 3D STEP model gives us everything we need for the fastest, most accurate quote.
How quickly can I get a quote?
Most requests receive a quote within one business day. Complex assemblies or large programs may take a little longer, and we’ll tell you up front.
